On Monday, September 8th, we had breakfast at the hotel, then finished packing up. We then caught a shuttle over to Port Canaveral, about 1 hour away, to board the Disney Wish!
Cute Hudson in his Bluey PJs at breakfast. Getting breakfast at the hotel.
On our way over to the Port. It's boarding day!
We made it to the Port! The Disney Wish behind us!
We then checked in, went through security, then waited for our turn to board.
On our way to board!
Making our way over to the Wish!
Almost there! Then welcoming the McGrath Family! We made it!
Then up to Marceline Market to get lunch! Cute Mickey cups!
We saw Dolphins in the water while we were eating lunch, so cool! Yummy desserts. We boarded next to the main area for Disney Cruises. Apparently, the Wish has its own boarding area vs the other ships. It works though, and most importantly, we were on the ship!!!
We all went down the slide into the kid's club. It was fun!
We then checked out the club and got Carter and Hudson registered.
Cool stuff in the kid's club.
Fun mirror. Pretending to be on a roller coaster.
Cute tiny toilets in the kid's club. Star Wars area.
Carter and Hudson got to use their wristbands to create a suit and then fight bad guys.
It was really cool! Ironically we never made it to the kids club on the Treasure.
Carter taking a turn!
We then went to our stateroom. We got Verandah's this time, which was super fun!
So fun to see outside our room.
Beautiful pictures above our beds (Moana and Little Mermaid).
We then went to check out the other clubs for tweens and teens.
Candy/Ice Cream shop. Then the boys wanted an ice cream of course.
Fun windows. Since it was a Halloween on the High Seas, they had villains in the windows.
Then over to the muster drill. Then we went back to our stateroom for the sail away.
And we're off!
So cool to watch as we sailed out.
Then it was dinner time, over to Marvel for our first night.
The kids enjoy the fun question button they can use during dinner.
Silly Carter. Spiderman then came out to say hi. Yummy dinner.
Spiderman stopped by every table for a second. Yummy dessert.
Cool windows for Halloween.
Then pictures w/ Goofy in his Halloween costume.
Cool bed sheets for the kids' beds. Fun towel animals.
Another cruise ship in the distance. Fun to look out our balcony as we sail.
Since we'd seen the play before, we decided to watch a movie, Elio, instead in the Neverland Cinema. There were lots of Tinkerbells in there. Joann would love it :)
We had a great 1st day on the ship! We were excited for the remaining 3 days ahead of us!
