March is going quickly so I need to get caught up. Here are some highlights.
Dave and Joann went w/ Steve and the boys to the Aquarium.
Nyles holding a butter fly.
Pretty sunrise.
The shelves again in our half bathroom.
Carter came up and gave Nyles a big hug after he was gone like 5 minutes seeing if the neighbor was home to play. I guess he missed him in that amount of time. Silly boy:)
Pretty flowers the boys got for me!
Carter playing w/ his tractor behind the couches while I was vacuuming.
And then it snowed again!
Another white out!
Steve and Nyles shoveling the snow.
Oh the snow.......we're about ready for Spring to come.
Singing Happy Birthday for February and March birthdays.
Nyles and Carter playing in the train playset at the park.
And of course feeding the ducks while they were there.
Carter figured out how to move the chair over to the counter to get stuff.
Nothing is safe now....hahah.
Steve, Dave and Nyles took the little boats out at Jordanelle one Saturday.
They had a lot of fun, though they didn't catch any.
Nyles fishing his own pole. He said it was a little cold too.
Carter enjoying some muddy buddies. And Carter loves being pulled on the blanket by Nyles.
Carter enjoying a snack at Aunt Stacie's.
They came up to play w/ Conor for a little while.

After saving up for 2 years, we decided to redo our kitchen. And while we were at it we also decided to redo our kitchen floor. We wanted to get the floors done before our new cabinets get installed. Steve started ripping out the old tile last week. Of course the boys wanted to be right there were Steve was working, and afterwards they also wanted to play where he left off.
And under the tile we found the old yellow linoleum.
The same stuff we found in our bathrooms and laundry room.
Nyles working on his homework and Carter coloring.
That Friday I took work off so we could work on the floor some more. We rented a jackhammer to get the tile out a little quicker. We had it for 3 hours and Steve got most of it done. It was definitely faster than doing it by hand w/ a crowbar.
It was rather noisy and dusty, as you might expect, so I took the boys to the aquarium while Steve worked on getting the tile out. Nyles and Carter by the Asian otters.
Carter going down the slide and in the tunnel.
Nyles helping Carter down the slide.
A cute penguin saying hello to Nyles and Carter.
Nyles being silly in the submarine. Steve w/ the jackhammer, ready to return it when we got back.
The tile out, except under the appliances.
Next we need to put lath down, non modified thin-set, then we can start tiling.
Let the fun begin....
