3rd Week of May

Here are some highlights from the 3rd week of May.

Cute baby Hudson just being silly in his crib!  And cute baby sleeping.

Cute baby Hudson in my work chair.

Carter got to celebrate his birthday at preschool early (it's in June).  O
h baby Hudson.  His face is hilarious!

Hudson is so curious of Piper.  He wants to get close to her and touch her, even her eyes.  Thankfully she's been very patient w/ him.  Hudson loves his binky, in any direction.

More pretty flowers in bloom (Piper out of breath after playing ball).  Nyles and Carter riding their bikes around the neighborhood.  Carter pedals his little legs to keep up w/ Nyles and does it!  Carter is doing so well w/out his training wheels.  Nyles is a great big brother to help him!

Hudson turned 9 months old!  He's growing so much.  He weighed 21lb 9oz (68%), 28 inches long (27% though was probably not measured correctly), and his head was 18.4 inches (88%).  He finally got his first tooth, and first real hair cut. He's rolling everywhere and is on the go. He's definitely teething, which has interrupted his sleep, but he's still cute as can be and is happy otherwise. We love him so much!

Hudson's been a little cranky w/ his teething, so we've had to put him in his car-seat/stroller to get him to take his naps sometimes.  And another time he decided to eat his toes :)

We hit up the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point Thursday after I got off work for a little bit.  Steve and Nyles had been there a few years ago but it's been a while, so it was fun to go back for them.  Carter, Hudson and I enjoyed it as well.  Python Squeeze, jumping on pictures, and going across the rope bridge.

Feeling wind at 85 mph, looking at mirrors, and playing in water.

Learning how things move w/ wind, Hudson getting a snack, and Carter at the Earthquake table.

Then we went outside for a minute.  The boys trying out the zipline.

The boys at the bank, me on the teeter-totter w/ Steve.

We got some rain on Friday, which was good.  We need the rain.

Friday night Steve went to help move the last of Aunt Diane's stuff out of her condo, so the boys wanted to go back to the Museum of Natural Curiosity.  We went and explored more outside, which was awesome.  They have more Lego statues in the gardens next door, so we saw the buck.  It's pretty neat, so we're planning to go back soon to find the rest (15 total).  We also saw fish and pretty nature.

Nyles hugging a bear, pretty pond, Iris, waterfall and teeter-totter again.

Cute baby Hudson playing w/ Army tanks.

Carter and Hudson checking out Piper.  Hudson sleeping so cute, and trying watermelon.  He likes it!

Saturday, Steve went out w/ Rob, Nyles and our neighbor Rich Mitchell fishing.

Nyles w/ an art project he made earlier this year.

Good reminder.

2nd Week of May

We had a fun 2nd week of May.  Things are moving right along and we are getting closer to the end of the school year.  Here are some highlights.

Silly Piper thought she needed to chew on the box before we recycled it.

Cute Hudson noises.

The boys doing their martial arts class virtually until they open up the studio in a few weeks.

Cute baby Hudson.  Baby Shark!

Cute boys and Hudson trying to get to Piper.

Hudson likes to look at the fish.  Sleeping so cute!

Baby Hudson rolling around before bed, our Irises are in bloom, and Hudson reading the tractor book.

Hudson and Piper both attacking Nyles!

Nyles had his 2nd track meet on Friday.  This time only Steve went to the track meet.  I stayed home w/ the other 2 boys since it was SUPER HOT that day.  Steve said there was no shade either.  Nyles worked hard and did his best.

Nyles did the 100 meter this time and javelin again.

Doing the shot put.

Nyles and Steve after they got home from the track meet.

We went out for slushies at Bahama Bucks after Nyles last track meet.

Our raspberry bushes are growing, and more beautiful Irises.

Here is Carter's Preschool Program.

Saturday morning Steve went fishing w/ Nyles and Rob.
It got pretty windy though so they didn't stay out very long.

Cute Nyles w/ a CapriSun straw in his mouth, enjoying the boat ride.

Saturday afternoon we met Pauline at the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point.  It was the last day of the Festival, but there were still lots of pretty flowers to see.

Cute baby Hudson.  Lots of pretty flowers and scenery.

Cute Carter and Nyles.
It was pretty warm outside so the boys kept asking Steve to pour water on them.

Pauline and I by some pretty flowers/fountains, cute baby Hudson and a family picture.

I love all the beautiful flowers.  Nyles, Ezra, Charlotte and Carter, taking a break in the shade.

Nyles, Hudson, Carter and Ezra going through a tunnel.

Pauline's family getting a picture and Charlotte w/ pretty flowers.

Family picture, pretty flowers, and looking at the Coy fish.

Carter said his legs were getting tired so Nyles carried him up the last stretch.  Such a great big brother!

Cool hummingbird/flower made out of LEGOS!

The yard is coming back to life!  The grass, flowers and trees.  I love it!  Piper gets so hyper after I mow the lawn and we're all outside in the backyard.

Pretty Iris in our backyard.  Cute baby Hudson holding his toy while sleeping.

Sunday we went up to Melanie/Brandon's place for Phill's 40th birthday celebration.  Stacie put together a slide show of pics of him, then we played Pie Face (answering questions about Phill).  All the kids wanted a turn of course: Alexa, London Claire, Conor, Nyles and Noah.  The girls also took turns holding baby Hudson.

Steve and Jeff taking a turn.  Ethan helped Steve fix the gears on Nyles bike.

Steve taking a turn during Pie Face.

Joann holding baby Hudson.  Phill and Melanie taking a turn at the game.

Then we had pie and ice cream for dessert, and got ready to play "Throw Throw Burrito, Outdoor Edition."  The dog made a hole in the blow up burrito, so Steve fixed the hole.

Happy 40th to Phill!  Hudson thought the burrito was fun to ride and suck on.
Their dog Dusty also loved to lick Hudson any chance he could.

While Steve was fixing the bike, Nyles and Carter were playing, so I took a turn playing the game.
It's a lot of fun.  Melanie watched Hudson so I could play.  Thanks!

Nyles drew this picture on the back of his homework one day.  Can you guess what it is?
It's him on the boat w/ Steve in the back.  He even drew the live well.  Too cute ;)
