Steve took Carter to the Dr Monday morning. He definitely had croup. We gave him some meds Sunday night when his cough started but Steve still took him in. The Dr gave him another steroid to help open up his airways. The Dr said he should be fine in a few days. He was so excited for preschool though on Tuesday, so we let him go.
Carter fell asleep pretty quickly after being picked up from preschool. After preschool they go pick up Corri's son Jacob from Kindergarten. There is a 10 minute wait and Carter took a quick cat nap.
We got poured on Wednesday w/ both rain and hail. It was barely above 60 degrees, brrr!
We moved Carter over to the other bedroom upstairs and I made his room my office. We got an adjustable desk at Costco so I can stand up and sit down when needed. It's great!
Friday Steve went over to his parent's house and installed a new sink and faucet for them.
He also put in a new hood over the oven.
Friday night we all went into the Instacare and got checked out since we were all having ear aches. Carter and Nyles were prescribed antibiotics for an ear infection that was starting. I was prescribed a steroid to help drain the fluid in my ears (no infection though). We all started taking them Saturday and are feeling better now.
Then Saturday we went and helped Stacie and Phill move their stuff from Dave/Joann's place to their new house in Centerville. When we got back home Steve made a holder for his motor so it doesn't bounce in his boat while driving. He also made a ramp to help load/unload his boats off the trailer.
Steve and Nyles went and picked peaches from our peach tree.
Yummy peaches!
Then they went and picked pears off our tree.
We also buried our swimming pool and made it into a sand "circle."
Fall is definitely around the corner. The weather is changing and the sunlight is getting less and less (sad). We've already had our taste of sickness as well. There are a lot of good things to look forward to with the Fall so we're going to stay positive. Here's to a better week this week!
