Tortola, British Virgin Islands

On Tuesday, May 14th, we arrived at Tortola, British Virgin Islands.  It was a beautiful island.  Here are some highlights of the day.

Beautiful BVI and the Disney Fantasy Ship.

Our ship.  We decided to do our own excursion.
I read there were LOTS of shuttles to the beaches, so we simply got a shuttle once we were off.

Driving in Tortola.

We decided to go explore Cane Garden Bay Beach for the day.

We were one of first people on the beach, so we got first dips on the chairs.
We also wanted to stay close to the bathroom :)

Such a beautiful beach.

Just what you imagine the Caribbean to look like.  The water was warm and clear.

So pretty!

Steve, Nyles and I went over to a spot and went snorkeling first.
We saw a lot of beautiful tropical fish.

Playing in the water.

Beautiful Tortola, Cane Garden Bay Beach.

Hudson floating.

On our way back to the ship.  They drive on the opposite side of the road, and the roads were really steep getting to the beach.  It was worth it though for the view and experience.

Pretty flower.  Cool mural.  Back to the Fantasy Ship.

Back on board we got a late lunch, then played in the pools and took turns on the AquaDuck.

Steve and Carter on the AquaDuck.

Hudson figured out Mickey's slide on his own and went over and over again!  He loved it!

That night was Pirate night.  Rrrrrr matey!
They sang Happy Anniversary to Steve and I as well.  15 years to celebrate!

Yummy chocolate lava cake and Mickey bars for dessert.  Then the kids got chocolate coins at Guest Services.  The cast-member thought Hudson was hilarious!

Picture with Jack Sparrow!

Cool Pirate towel.  Then on to the show!

The kids love to get refills on popcorn for the show.  Then Hudson fell asleep before it was over.
Steve took Hudson and Carter back to the room to go to bed, and I took Nyles up on deck for the Pirate Party and fireworks at sea!

Pirate night, Jack Sparrow.

Jack Sparrow coming down to join his crew, then fireworks!
Amazing pirate towel (Captain Hook on the alligator).

We had such an amazing day!  Cane Garden Bay Beach was so beautiful.  We got to snorkel, swim, and enjoy the beauty around us.  Then back on the ship for more fun.  Steve and I have always wanted to go to these islands, so it was incredible to finally go.  What a memorable day!
