Cabo San Lucas

On Monday, February 27th we arrived at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  It was a beautiful sunny day.  It was nice to feel the warmer sunshine again.  We booked an outside excursion to do whale watching, but it was until noon, so we decided to stay on the ship in the morning and play.

Beautiful views from on the ship.

The boys wanted to swim of course.  Hudson played in the splash pad.

Nyles and Carter swam in the pool, which wasn't very busy since most people were getting off the ship, so that was nice.

We then got some lunch before heading out.
We also had cell coverage included in our plan while in Mexico (talk/text), so that was nice.

We then got on a tender boat to take us over to Cabo.  I took some motion sickness meds every day, and thankfully didn't have any issues the whole trip, yeah!

Beautiful views!
We then found where our excursion was going to leave from and waited a few minute to go.

We got on a smaller boat and headed out.

We stopped by the arch first.  So cool!

Then we went out further looking for whales.  They migrate from Mexico up to Alaska each year from December to April, so we were all hoping/praying we could see them.  They also have their babies by Mexico, so it would be neat to see a baby as well.  After waiting a little bit and listening under the water w/ a hydrophone, we heard them, then finally spotted on!

We then followed them (from a safe distance) for a while.  It was amazing!  We even saw a baby whale, who was only about 2 weeks old!

So incredible!

Hudson was pretty worn out after we got back.  He fell asleep in the stroller.
We walked around Cabo for just a little while, then got back on the ship.  Cool sea lions.

Getting back on board.  Great quote.

For dinner we were at Animator's Palate, which is so awesome!  The do drawings and different things while you're there.  We were right by a big screen which was fun!  Our waitress even started bringing out a plate of fresh fruit and some cheese, so the kids could eat before their main meal came out.

They sang Happy Birthday to me also that night, which was fun.
Hudson loved getting ice cream every night for dessert of course.

Mickey came out at the end of dinner unexpectantly, right by our table.
Hudson was soooo excited to see him!!

Cool drawings at Animator's Palate, including Tinkerbell (for Grandma Joann).  Fun towel animals at bedtime.  Nyles and Carter pretending to use Hudson's feet as phones ;)

We had a great day both on the ship and at Cabo!  Seeing the whales in real life in the wild was amazing!  It was definitely a highlight of our trip!
