Thanksgiving 2016

For Thanksgiving this year we went up to Boise to have dinner w/ my family at Barbara and Rich's house.  We had it there 2 years ago and it worked out really well, so we thought we'd do it there again.  Barb and Rich actually moved down the street to an even bigger house, so there was plenty of room!  Everyone was able to make it and we all had a great time!  Thanks Barb and Rich again for hosting!

We left Wednesday and stayed at my parents, then went up to Barb's on Thursday.  Nyles and Carter traveled really well.  We ran into snow as we got closer to the Idaho border and there were a few spots we couldn't see very well, but luckily we kept moving along and arrived there in safety.  Pauline must have hit the snow right behind us and it got pretty bad for a while, so she was just putting along, but was able to keep going and arrived there safely.  Rose left after both of us, and didn't really hit the snow.  They all went straight up to Barb's house Wednesday night.

Carter did really well on Thanksgiving day as well.  He got passed around to everyone and didn't fuss at all.  He also took a nap in the laundry room for a couple hours, even w/ all the noise.

Friday night Steve grilled up ribs and chicken for his birthday dinner.  Rose, Summer, and Rose's friend Aaron showed up on their way back to SLC.  They had dinner and cake and ice cream w/ us, then headed back to SLC that night.

It was great to see everyone at Thanksgiving.  Until next time....
