Cozumel

On Monday, May 19th we were docked at the island of Cozumel!

Hudson wanted pictures next to Moana!

We then took a bus for our excursion.  Hudson took a little nap, and rested on Steve.

We first went to see some Mayan Ruins.  They were incredible!  Unfortunately, the owner in the early 1900s was trying to farm the land, and used dynamite to clear the land, thus ruining the ruins :(

A "dish" they used to make corn flour (maize).  Cool structure and pretty Hibiscus flower.

Hudson wanted to smell the flower, and got yellow pollen on his face ;)

Unfortunately, a tree is growing in one of the structures, so it will ultimately destroy the structure.

Our 2nd stop was to a Mayan Chocolate Factory and learned how they made chocolate.

Lastly we stopped at a beach to play for a few hours.

We brought our snorkel gear to check it out.

Hudson officially knows how to snorkel! (He picked it up while we were in Hawaii).

Then back to the ship!

The boys bought Mexican sweaters at the market before boarding the ship.

That night we went to the 3rd restaurant, Worlds of Marvel.  

They had questions during dinner the boys could answer, which they thought was fun.

More yummy desserts.  Then Spiderman showed up!

The boys wanted to go out on deck again.  

It was SUPER windy, so they closed off the front of the ship.

Silly boys.  Genie was in the ceiling above Carter's bed (pretty cool).  Another towel animal.

We then got a picture w/ Mirabel and Bruno from Encanto.

We had a great day in Cozumel and looked forward to the next day!
