1st Week of May

We had a fun and eventful week.  Here are some highlights from the 1st week of May.

Cute baby Hudson just laying on the ground.  Cute Carter w/ his goggles upside down.

Cute Hudson enjoying some frozen berries.  They feel good on his gums.
He's teething for sure!  Gotta love his crazy hair too!

Our pretty Lilac Bush is in bloom.  It smells so nice!
Hudson just kicking it on the floor and Piper hanging out in our room behind the chair.

Hudson sleeping so cute.

Piper licking Hudson's toes, then Hudson rolled around on the floor and found Piper.

Nyles on Cinco de Mayo at school.

They got to make piñatas and bring them in to class as well.

We finally gave Hudson a real haircut w/ the clippers.  He didn't like the sound, but we managed to get it done.  He now reminds us of Carter when he was that age.

Cute Hudson's haircut.

Carter and Hudson just hanging out in the hammock at the playground while Nyles does his track practice after school.

Thursday night Steve, the boys, and Rob went out fishing.

They had a good evening.

Friday at 1pm we met Rose and Pauline at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple to do baptisms for the dead.  I got off work early and Dave and Joann came and sat w/ the boys so we could go (thanks so much!).   We were able to do many family names during the 50 minutes we were there.  It was wonderful!  It was so great to be back in the temple again after a year!

Chris, Pauline, Charlotte, Ali, Sophia, Ava, Rose, Penny and Steve.
The boys having some lunch back at home while Hudson sleeps.

That night Nyles went to play w/ Conor for a couple hours, so we took Carter and Hudson to the Aquarium.  We had a lot of fun though we missed Nyles.

Carter going on the zipline at the Aquarium.

More fish, penguins and a megalodon jaw.

Silly Toucan bird at the Aquarium.

Carter fell asleep on the way home.  Our first pretty Iris is blooming!

And Hudson has his 1st tooth and more look like they're about to come.
He likes to roll around and stare at the camera before finally going to bed.  He's so silly.

Saturday morning I mowed the lawn and the boys were playing outside in the water table while Hudson napped.  All of a sudden there were HUNDREDS of bees all over the yard and in the water table.

Come to find out our backyard neighbors got bees.  We moved the water table and the neighbors moved their bee hives further back (away from our fence line), and thankfully they were gone in a few hours.

Sunday was Mother's Day, which was great!  Steve got me flowers and the boys made me pictures and chocolate.  They know me well! I'm so thankful to be their mother.  I'm also thankful for my mom, grandmas and in-laws.  We are so blessed to have them in our lives!  That evening we went over and had dinner w/ Pauline and her family.

After dinner we went over to the park to play for a little while.  It was a little cool but still fun.

Carter going really fast on the zipline at the park.

And cute Piper relaxing on her bed.
