Last week of October

We had a fun last week of October.  Here are some highlights.

Hudson has his 2 month old Dr. appointment. He weighed 14.4 lbs (92 percentile) and was 23 inches (39 percentile) long.  He's definitely growing!  After his Dr appointment we went home.  Steve then loaded up and went w/ his dad to meet my dad in Idaho w/ their new wheelchair that they bought down here.  They met by 3pm and got the wheelchair in my dad's truck, then headed back home.  I went and picked Nyles up from school, we did homework, and got dinner ready.  Steve got home by 7pm.

On Thursday we went for a hike up to the suspension bridge again.  This time with Nyles after he got home from school.  The weather was beautiful!

Friday morning Steve drove Dave to have his loop recorder replaced for his heart.  They put him under conscious sedation, so Steve was his designated driver.

That evening we went up to Melanie/Brandon's for a Halloween Party.  We brought Dave and Joann up w/ us since neither of them could drive that day.

We each sat w/ our own families spaced out so we could eat dinner.

We played some games.  One of our games was to guess the number of candy corn in the bottle.

Then for our 2nd game Steve wanted to play a mummy game where he wrapped the kids in plastic wrap and they had to get out.  The younger kids all were able to wiggle their way out, while Ethan busted through it w/ his strength.  They all thought it was a lot of fun needless to say.

All of our boys were born 4 years apart, on an election year, and a leap year.

We put candy out on our porch in little baggies so we didn't have to touch it any further no "man the door" and kids could take it at their leisure.

We had a fun Halloween and the kids got plenty of candy in the short amount of time we went out.  Since most people had their candy out on their porch instead of having to knock, it made it a lot more efficient too.  We felt like we had more trick-or-treaters out in our neighborhood this year than any other year and more parents out w/ them.  Despite Covid and the precautions we all had to go through (masks, sanitizing, social distancing) it was actually probably the most fun Halloween yet!
