3rd Week of May - 10th Week of Quarantine

We had a busy week.  Steve has officially started his Summer classes.  This is supposed to be his last semester to finish up his Sonography (Ultrasound tech) program.  We still haven't heard officially if the hospitals are going to let students back in or not to do their clinical rotations.  In the mean time Steve is taking his classes online and watching the boys while I work from home.  Nyles actually finished up his official school work on Friday.  He was pretty happy about it.  Here are some other highlights from this past week.

Piper excited about her new bones.

Piper eating her new bones.

Nyles taking a turn walking Piper.  Notice the "loose leash."  She's doing great!

Beautiful Dianthus are coming out in our front yard.

Nyles drew a picture for Joann about the cabin.

Piper is so silly when she sleeps; her head falls off her bed most times.

Steve put in new lights in the garage, LED and motion sensored.
Our old ones were really noisy and "buzzed" when they were on, you could hear them upstairs.

Steve went fishing w/ Dave and the boys at Utah Lake State Park.

They had a good time and actually caught a few fish!

Good catch!

Good times!

And another!

Good work!

While they were gone, I was at work, then made potato broccoli cheese soup.  It was yummy :)

The next day the school had a parade for a end of year celebration.
Nyles' teachers were first up!  He was so happy to see them.

Carter enjoying the parade.

Steve took the boys to the local fishing pond that afternoon as well.

Friday afternoon we packed up and headed to the cabin.  Piper found a duster in the corner and couldn't keep her eyes off it.  Steve put it up high, but she still couldn't get her eyes off it.  He had to hide it in the back room so it was "out of sight, out of mind."  She would still occasionally start looking around for it though.  It was pretty funny.

Carter eating his bacon for breakfast, and Piper giving him her puppy eyes, asking for some.

Beautiful morning, though cold and windy!

There was snow on the ground/boat/trailer.

Piper checking out the snow on the deck.

Footprints, yes Steve went out barefoot.

Steve and I went and laid back down for a short nap while the boys played w/ Grandma and Grandpa.
Carter playing w/ Mr. Potato head.

Piper came and laid down w/ us up on the deck.

Then she came and laid down at the foot of my bed.  She likes to lick Steve's legs too.

Cute Piper taking a nap.

We then went up Wild Cat Canyon so the boys could shoot some BB Guns.

The boys taking turns shooting.

I took a few turns as well.

Steve walked around a little w/ Piper.  She was so excited to run!

Dave taking a turn.

Steve tried a few as well.

Looking at the targets to see where they shot.

Cute Piper in the back of the car.

Nyles playing w/ a bulldozer in the dirt.

The boys wanted to play in the water w/ their boats, even though it was cold outside.
I put in warm water so it kept them busy for a while.

Though we couldn't go out to fish since it was too windy (and cold), we had a good time playing games.  Piper laying on Dave's toes while we played a game.
