May 3rd Week

The 3rd week of May was fairly low key.  We had a couple days in the 80's then we had more rain which was good for our flowers.  We had to turn on our A/C for those couple days it got so hot.  Steve's friend Rob also turned on his swamp cooler.  Unfortunately his swamp cooler was leaking and it came through his roof.  Steve went over to help assess the damage.

As they looked at the roof they realized that it wasn't sealed properly when it was replaced a few years ago.  It started raining pretty hard the next few days so he had to get it fixed quickly.

Our beautiful Irises coming bloom: peach, purple and yellow.

More pretty purple ones in the backyard.

We had Dave and Melissa Thomas over Saturday evening for an impromptu BBQ and to roast marshmallows for s'mores.  The weather mostly held out and we all had a good time.

Family Home Evening: Carter, me, Nyles and Steve.  Carter loves to sing songs so I play them on my phone and we sing w/ it.  Most of the time Carter loves to dance as well as we sing.
