2nd Week of April

The 2nd week of April was pretty busy week.  Here are some highlights.

Yep it snowed again!

Nyles lost another tooth!  The last cement truck came to finish the last of our wall.
They've been slowed down due to all the rain and snow.

Steve went to LA for a physics ultrasound conference over the weekend.  It's basically a review class to help people prepare for and pass the physics board.  It was all day Saturday and half the day Sunday.  He flew out Friday evening.  I was at work, but luckily Stacie was able to watch the kids and Phill got home from work early and was able to take Steve to the airport.

After work on Friday I went over to pick up Nyles and Carter at Dave/Joann's.  They had lots of fun playing w/ Stacie, London and Conor.  Thanks guys!

Steve made it to his hotel room in LA Friday evening.  It was right next to the airport, so it was a little loud.  The 2nd night he went and got earplugs so he could sleep.

Early Saturday morning Steve made his way down to the conference room in the hotel.

Steve sat in the front on Saturday, but that afternoon he wasn't feeling well.  

He decided to sit in the back on Sunday.

On Saturday I took the boys to the library and Draper Park.

That afternoon we met Pauline, Chris and Ezra at the Aquarium.  Ironically Stacie, Phill, London and Conor walked in right after us and we saw each other getting pictures on our cards.  We ended up going around the Aquarium together.  It was great!

Sunday afternoon Steve called me from LA and said he was able to get on an earlier flight.  He wasn't feeling so great Sunday so as soon as the conference was over he went straight to the airport.  The assistant was able to get Steve on the next flight which was just about to leave.  The boys and I were just about to leave to Wheadon Park, so we went there for a while, then went and picked up Steve at the airport.

We were so glad to have Steve home, even though he wasn't feeling well.  He came home and slept for a while after taking some meds.  It's great to be together again!
