Carter enjoying the ride in the sled over to our spot.
My sledding buddy.
Carter and I going down the hill.
Nyles and I went over the speed bump someone made a few times as well. I basically stood up as we came down in order to avoid crashing. It was exciting though.
Steve walked Carter over the bump, then the next time he joined Nyles and I.
They thought it was so much fun! I love my sledding buddies.
Here we go!
Snow levels at the cabin this year! Dave/Joann went up w/ Melanie/Brandon's family over the weekend. They had to do some serious digging to get into the cabin.

Steve helping Carter w/ a puzzle and Nyles doing his own. The boys love the truck puzzles, so we do them pretty regularly. It makes me happy they love puzzles too!
We got Nyles new pants and boots since he wears out his pant knees really fast and soles of his footwear. So, onto another pair for him. He also lost his top tooth this week. It's been wiggly since Christmas time but he wouldn't let us wiggly it. He actually pulled it out himself one day at school.
Friday night Steve left on a young men's camp-out, so the boys and I went to a park, then over to Nyles' school. They got a new school electronic sign. They had a scavenger hunt around the school as well to find various things. Nyles thought it was so fun. They also gave the kids school T-shirts.
Nyles outside of his classroom by his 100 poster. Carter being a super hero w/ a drill!
New bright lights Steve put in outside.
Early Saturday morning we had ANOTHER earthquake! Of course when Steve was gone. Carter had just woken up, so I went to get him back to sleep. I had just checked my phone and was getting back to sleep when the shaking started. It only lasted a couple seconds, but it definitely frightened me. I literally froze while it was happening, closed my eyes, and said a little prayer for it to go away. Thankfully it went away w/ no harm done. The boys didn't wake up either. The next morning Steve and I had a conversation. Needless to say, before the day was over we had earthquake insurance.
Steve took the young men up to Brandon/Melanie's house in Midway for their "campout." It was the easiest "campout" ever. They had Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner that night.
Then the boys played games. Dave and Rob decided to come up as well and spend the night.
And then they watched a movie.
The next morning Melanie cooked them breakfast.
Then they sang some 80's songs together in the music room.
Then they went out sledding on the hill by their house.
Ethan, Noah and Olivia also came out to sled w/ them.
They were having a good time, until Ashten went off a jump on his snowboard and broke his wrist. Steve's dad Dave ended up taking him and another boy home so he could see a Dr. It was confirmed, he broke his wrist. Steve helped the other boys clean up, get lunch, pack up, then they headed home.
That same day, Grandma VaLere Hegerhorst got remarried to Dan Crane at the church.
Carter got a little restless the last few minutes of sacrament meeting, so Steve gave him his phone to play w/ the camera. He sure loves pictures! Silly boy :)
My cute boys. Carter loves my big teddy bear, and Nyles wearing his super hero mask w/ his new Sprucewood school T-shirt he got on Friday.
Sunday afternoon we went over to Nyles' school playground to get outside for a while.
Carter loves the slides!
Nyles has gotten really good at the swings.
He can pedal all by himself now, though he still likes to get big pushes from us when he can.
After the playground we went over to the duck pond. My boys love ducks!
Nyles checking the ducks out.
Looking at the blonde duck.
We then walked over to the other duck pond to see those ducks.
Walking back Carter wanted to "fly" and Nyles got cold so he borrowed Steve's jacket.
We're getting excited for daylight savings and hopefully some more 'springlike' temperatures. 50 degrees definitely feels great this time of year!
