Downstairs update

We finally got the downstairs painted over New Year's.  Here are some progress pictures.

Before we moved in.  Old carpet, old windows, and wallpaper.

We replaced the carpet just before moving in.

Notice the lovely cow wallpaper w/ stripes.

The cow wallpaper would NOT come down though, so we decided to put up beadboard instead, to go cover it up.  Carter wanted to help paint the beadboard.

All done w/ 2 new coats of paint on the ceiling, can lights put in, 2 coats of paint on the walls, new window, new outlets, beadboard, new carpet, and Steve made a cover for the water line.

 It feels great to finally get it done.  The room is much brighter now w/ the new lighting, new window which lets natural light in, and new paint colors.  Thanks Steve for your hard work!
