Cute Carter figured out how to push the gas pedal on the Jeep.
True statement; great reminder.
Steve has been wedding LuDean's flower beds. Before and After (though not completely done yet).
Steve put up wasp traps. Needless to say I think they're working. Cute Carter was so interested in the pictures at Grandma LuDean's house and had to hug the stuffed puppy as well..
Nyles being silly, and the boys just relaxing at home.
The young men ended up coming over to our house for their activity. They played Bocce, Ladderball, and Badminton. Nyles and Carter just had to go out and play w/ them. Luckily I mowed the lawn the night before. :)
Steve took the boys to A&W for free root beer float day.
Free float.
Yumm!
Later that day, Carter wasn't feeling well. No connection to the root beer floats. He had a fever a few days, then was back to normal. Poor little guy. He couldn't wait for mom to get home from work.
We brought home my Barbie's from Idaho and Barbie limo. The boys think it's pretty fun to play with the limo. Carter eating a protein bar and pushing the limo around the kitchen.
The boys like to chase each other around the circle of our kitchen/living room.
Steve got another motor for his duck boat. This one is a gas engine vs battery/electric. Steve put together the kit for the tail of the engine. He put it together in the garage.
He then painted it.

He used our tree limbs to make camouflage patterns; pretty smart I think.
Then he put the boat out on the front lawn and the boys had fun playing in it.
Oh my silly boys! It's been hot that's for sure!
When I got home we turned on the sprinkler for the boys to run through.
Chasing each other while Steve plays w/ the motor mount.
And then some bubbles!
These geese have taken over this farmer's field in Draper. There actually still there today. I took this picture while sitting on the train going in to work and sent it to Steve to temp him, haha.
Carter has a Speech Therapist come a couple times a month to help him speak words. He seems to know words but chooses not to say them. We are working on ways to encourage him to say them. When he does say them we get really excited and clap for him. He's getting better for sure.
Carter also loves to play w/ the "stickers" on Steve's phone and make faces.
Lynsie came over one day to play while Steve went a Dr appt and Joann watched the boys.
Unfortunately on Nyles 6th birthday he actually wasn't feeling very well. He had a fever and later a sore throat. He maybe got it from Carter. He ended up staying home from church w/ Steve and rested. He opened his birthday gift from us which was Rescue Bots figurines. They are transformers which help others (police car, fireman, bulldozer, helicopter). He was so excited!
That evening Dave and Joann came over to wish him a Happy Birthday and we sang to him.
He got another Rescue Bot! This one is a tow truck.
There they are a set up in his room!
We picked a couple bell peppers from our garden; yumm!
Steve getting the boats ready to go out to the lake. He wanted to try his new motor out.
He took the boys up to Deer Creek.
They had a great time "trying the motor out."
Steve loving life in his boat and using his new motor which goes pretty fast actually.
Cute Carter just sitting in the chair. Steve said he sat there the whole time and didn't complain.
