Carter figured out how to peel clementines.
After we got there the boys ran around and we had dinner w/ my parents. They were happy to finally get there and get out of the car. Nyles was counting down the days until we could get to Grandpa/Grandma's house; he was so excited! Pauline and Chris left later that afternoon and didn't get to our parent's place until after Carter and Nyles had gone to bed.

The next morning Carter was excited to play w/ cousins.

That morning Steve and my dad went out and shot pigeons. They had success!

We got to listen to a little bit of General Conference, but after everyone started showing up, it got too loud so we turned it off. While they were gone to the Easter hunt in Bruneau, Steve, my parents and I were able to participate in the Solemn Assembly of the sustaining of the new President and Prophet of the church, President Russell M. Nelson. I don't remember every participating in a Solemn Assembly before. I actually went to the funeral of Gordon B. Hinckley, but I must of missed the Solemn Assembly in General Conference that followed. It was a really neat experience to participate in the Solemn Assembly. As we each had the opportunity to stand and raise our hand to sustain him as the Prophet, the Spirit was really strong. I definitely feel the Lord has called President Nelson to be our Prophet at this time. I bear testimony that he is indeed our prophet today!

Right before dinner we had our annual Hegerhorst Easter Egg Hunt finding brown paper bags in the machinery. It's something we look forward to each year.

Barbara and Anna left after dinner. Daron, Pauline and us stayed over night. We had a good time visiting w/ one another.

Sunday morning we watched General Conference and played conference bingo. Daron left before it started, and we decided to leave after the first session. We wanted to get home so we could work on our kitchen floor some more on Monday, since I had the day off.

Luckily they both fell asleep right as we were pulling out of the driveway, and they slept for 1.5-2 hours. That was helpful so Steve and I could listen to conference, once we got reception that is.

As soon as we made it home Nyles and Carter wanted to run around for a minute. They were so happy to be out of the car finally! I gave them water bottles to spray the flowers and grass. It kept them busy while we unloaded the car.
Our trees are blooming!
Spring is finally coming and we're so excited. Our trees, flowers and grass are coming back.
The boys love being outside, and so do we.

We hope everyone had a very Happy Easter. I'm so thankful for this time of year to remember our Savior Jesus Christ and the blessings he has given us. I know He lives!
