Here are some highlights from the rest of the 1st week of August (before and after we went to Bear Lake/Logan).
Cool tie-dye shirts. Our neighbors were inspired by our tie-dye project and did it themselves also. Kaitlyn came over w/ her shirt and they all had matching shirts. Too cute. Nyles pretending to be by a tiger. You can use your phone to make them "appear" in your space. They kids think it's pretty fun :)
Nyles petting a Tiger in the house :)
Pretty flowers in bloom in the yard. Hudson took Steve's GI Joe and was pretending it was his "baby." He even gave him his binky. Too cute :)
More pretty flowers and our pears growing.
Hudson climbing up the slide.
He has watched his older brothers and can now go UP the slide as well as down.
More climbing up the slide.
On the way home from Logan/Bear Lake w/ all our stuff, we stopped in Ogden and bought a trailer. We were borrowing Dave's 8 feet x 4 feet trailer, but since our kayaks are 10 feet they were sticking out the front. They also had to be directly in the center or else they would hit our Honda pulling the trailer when we turned. Since we've borrowed others trailers a lot this past year (camping, mulch, kayaking, etc) we figured it was time to get our own trailer. Our new trailer is 12 feet x 7 feet, so it easily fits our kayaks and then some. The new trailer also has D-rings so you can connect your tie downs directly instead of just on the trailer frame. Many people use them to hold ATVs in place. The lights are also built into the frame instead of sticking out where they could get broken easier. We're happy w/ our new trailer and glad we could "pick it up" on the way through instead of coming back and hour one way for it. Steve was especially happy to get the trailer :)
Nyles giving Carter a ride in the wagon. Steve w/ our new trailer now hauling all our stuff in the smaller trailer home. We took Dave his trailer back after unloading. Steve also gave him his shot he gets every 3 weeks. We stayed and visited for a little bit. Carter pretending to pet an alligator in the living room.

Blowing out the candles. Pauline being silly.
Dad, me, Rose, Pauline and Mom. Pauline w/ the cake she made w/ cookies inside and out. Ali has grown. She's now officially taller than me. Many of our nieces and nephews are getting so tall; it's crazy! I'm the first aunt to pass up, which isn't too hard to do haha ;)
Ava w/ the Tiger. My mom w/ Hudson, giving him a ride on her wheelchair.
Later Hudson cuddling w/ Piper.
He also thought it was fun to get into Piper's kennel; silly kid! There was a big swing at Sam's Club for over 50% off (only $20) so we got it. It's fun to swing under the pine tree. Cute Hudson footprints.
Going for a walk as it cooled down and rained over the weekend. Pretty view on our walk.
Cute wild flowers in bloom in the backyard.
Sunday afternoon we went up Little Cottonwood Canyon to escape the heat. We went on a little walk (Barrier Free Trail). Nyles also lost another tooth. Silly boys in our bed in the morning before church.
Beautiful views up the canyon.
Family picture (though Hudson wasn't having it).
So pretty. We explored and learned of the different vegetation on our way w/ an app.
Great quotes.
