3rd Week of December

My mom had her leg surgery on Wednesday, December 18th up in Boise. My last day of  work for 2019 was Thursday the 19th.  Nyles finished his last day on Friday the 20th.  He was also VIP the entire week in his classroom.  He was pretty excited.  He got to make a poster about himself, bring in his favorite things, including a couple books to read, and a treat.  He also had a basketball game on Saturday and they won!  Here are some other highlights from the 3rd week of December.

Pauline and family came over for dinner on Sunday the 15th.  Carter loves holding baby Lincoln.

After Nyles was out of school and I got off work, we went back to the Aquarium together.

 Rich Mitchell went out w/ Steve duck hunting Saturday morning.  Unfortunately the lake was frozen so they had to hunt in the river w/ everyone else.

They didn't get any ducks, but had a good time anyway.

We went over to Macey's to grab a few groceries, and they had real reindeer outside!!!

Then the kids got to meet Santa inside and tell him what they want for Christmas.

 Saturday afternoon we went to the Aquarium w/ Pauline, Chris, Charlotte, Ezra and Lincoln.
We all searched for the Elf on the Shelf.

Carter at the play-place by a Gingerbread Man.  He heard the story of the Gingerbread Man at preschool and wants to listen to it every night now.  He LOVES the story!
