Family Fun

Though I was extremely busy studying for my CFP test in the month of October, we still took some time to spend as a family.  It was nice to take a break for a little while and get a breath of fresh air.  Here are some highlights.

One Saturday late afternoon we took a family hike to the Suspension Bridge.  It was a beautiful hike right before sunset.  The views were incredible and the fall colors were amazing!  Heavenly Father has blessed us with the beauty around us.  I'm so thankful to be able to enjoy it.

Steve w/ Carter in the backpack.

Nyles wanted to carry his own backpack as well, silly kid.

Carter thought it was funny to tickle Steve's neck.

Taking a minute to see the view.

Beautiful colors.

We made it to the bridge!  Steve coming w/ Carter.

Trying to get a family picture.

Better.

Someone took a couple pictures for us.

Carter enjoying a snack on the way down.

Pretty sunset.

My cute boys!

And a fruit leather now.

Beautiful view looking back at the bridge.

One more of the sunset.

Steve decided to get Nyles a bat and baseball.  He thought he needed to try new things, other than just duck hunting and fishing.  Nyles has had a lot of fun hitting it in the backyard.  Doesn't hurt to try new things.

One night we went out and played in the backyard.  Nyles hit the baseball w/ Steve and I blew bubbles for Carter to pop.  Carter thought it was so fun to pop them.

Carter even tried to eat the bubbles!

And we went to the park, one of our favorite places to go.
We love feeding the ducks, even though it gets Steve excited about duck hunting.

So many ducks!

Carter thinks they're pretty fun to watch too!

These are the memories we'll have.  It's the simple things in life that many times bring so much joy!  Here are couple other quotes, food for thought.
