Nyles got Minion slippers; he was so excited to wear them!
Nyles opening our family gift from Rose, a game, yes!
Christmas morning we all slept in until 7:30 am, then started opening some gifts shortly after. Nyles was excited again to open more gifts. He opened his "take apart truck" first. The wheels and everything comes apart then you can put it back together with the drill and other tools. Nyles thinks it's the best! He had to try it right away. He especially loves the drill ;)

A cool truck track set
And a travel doodler; Nyles likes to draw.
Steve got me a new temple dress and hangers, and I got him an XBOX Live renewal and manly lotion. After opening gifts I made some pumpkin apple muffins for breakfast. Nyles played w/ his new toys for a while, then we all took a nap. Dave and Joann then came and visited after we got up.

Nyles got a Curious George shirt and a Curious George book
Dave and Joann also gave him a toy camera. He likes to take pictures.
Nyles also got the shirt he's wearing from us.
After visiting w/ Dave and Joann for a while, we all packed up and headed over to Melanie/Brandon's place to hang out and have dinner. It snowed pretty much the whole day, so we had fresh snow to play in outside, which was great. We went and sledded outside for a while, then went back inside to warm up a bit and play w/ other toys and cousins who were showing up now.

Nyles and Conor playing w/ toys. While the kids played, we played some board games. We got a new one from Aunt Diane for Christmas which is really fun. It's called "Cover your assets." We played it again last night w/ Rob, Dave and Joann. It's a lot of fun. Thanks Diane!
Diane also gave Nyles more Magniformer pieces and a cool John Deere tractor flashlight.
Conor thought it was pretty fun too.

A little hyper now, jumping in Sandy's bed
Though Nyles was acting really hyper at this point, we knew he was really actually tired by this point. So, we left shortly after and put him to bed. It was a really fun Christmas. We are truly blessed! I'm grateful for this time of year which we can celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. What a blessing that is. We are so thankful for all our family and friends which we have to celebrate it with as well. We love you all! ;)
