Wednesday, July 29th Steve went up to Liberty Park w/ Stacie, Carrie, Conor, London and Lynsie. Watching the geese.

Nyles had so much fun we decided to go again after I got off work. Steve picked up a wagon this time, so we could "haul" Nyles around easier. Steve plans to use it duck hunting this season to haul his stuff and bring Nyles out a little easier.
Friday, July 31st we were going to go up to the cabin, but decided instead to stick around. Nyles transitioned to a twin bed the night before, and we wanted to have him try it again to get used to it. We actually took down his crib and rearranged his room a little. Nyles was really excited to sleep in a big bed!
After work we went and got a few groceries, then picked up Dave and Joann and headed up to the canyon and did a hot dog roast. Nyles thought it was a lot of fun to start a fire. The weather was perfect up a little higher in elevation as well.

The next day, Saturday, August 1st, we did some cleaning and laundry, then took a hike up to Silver Lake then Solitude Lake behind it. It was a beautiful day for a hike!

We had a wonderful hike. We love being outdoors and enjoying the beauty around us! We are so blessed to have it so close to us.
Sunday, August 2nd we had our monthly family dinner. We had a Hawaiian Luau. Everyone had a lot of fun!

The next night on Monday, my mom was in town, so we had dinner together at Pauline's house and celebrated August's birthdays again. This time we sang to Pauline, Nyles and Summer.

I can't believe Summer is coming to a close, but we've got some fun times planned before it's over. We're looking forward to it! :)
