4th Week of June- 15th Week of Quarantine

We finished up the last week of June.  Here are some highlights.

Our pretty Daisies are in bloom!

Cute Piper with her "puppies eyes" looking at me.

Steve put the swimming pool under the slide for the boys to play.

Piper checking out the boys' fun.

He then connected the hose at the top to make it slippery.

The boys just having fun.

We got a roof rack put on the Honda so we can use the Thule on it as well as the Edge.

Our Day Lillies are finally coming out in bloom!

I love the colors!

On Friday, Steve went up to the Uintas Mountains w/ Rob, Dave and the boys.
They found a spot to camp, then went over to Trial Lake to fish.

Rob taking Nyles out to go fish.

Carter excited to go fishing (or maybe a boat ride) w/ Steve.

Rob and Nyles on the boat.

Cute Carter hanging out in the hammock.

Rob and Carter in the hammocks.

Beautiful scenery (Mt. Baldy in the background).

Then back at camp for some dinner and s'mores.  After dinner Dave drove home w/ Carter.  Carter was cold from the wind earlier, and since it was only getting colder, they decided it would be best to bring him to come home.  So I got a call from Dave at 8:45pm telling me he was on his way home w/ Carter.  Just less than an hour later they showed up and I got Carter to bed (in my bed of course since he didn't want to sleep alone).

Nyles and Steve loving being outdoors and by the campfire.

Nyles enjoying staying up a little later as well.

Rob by the campfire.

 Just talking around the campfire.

Ready for bed.  Rob decided to sleep in his hammock over night vs a tent.

The next morning Rob was turned the other way around, haha.

Nyles passed out the next morning in the tent.

They hurried and packed up their camp then went back over to Trial Lake to reserve a spot near the shore for us.  After talking it over though we (Joann, Carter and I) decided to stay home since it was really crowded and the bathroom situation wasn't ideal.  We didn't want to risk being exposed to Covid-19.  So Carter and I stayed home (and Joann at her place), but Dave went back up to tell them in person since they're is no cell service in the Uintas and to go fishing for the day again.

Beautiful flower Steve saw and thought of me:)  Nyles loving life out fishing!

 Beautiful scenery.

Rob and Nyles out fishing.

The water behind the dam, really full.

A fish they caught.

 More fishing!

Carter and I went over to Draper Park that morning and played for a while, along w/ took Piper for a walk around the park.

I put in decorations on the new fireplace and built-ins.
Steve just wanted to paint the doors one more time and put on the handles.

Carter and I did some puzzles together.  We put together a big fire truck.

Then we did many of the smaller animal and vehicles ones.  I also did a jigsaw fish one I borrowed from my mom.  It actually glowed in the dark, pretty cool.  Carter likes puzzles like Grandma and I.

Steve and Nyles got home Saturday afternoon.  On Sunday evening we went to the school playground and played for a while.  Thankfully it cooled off that evening and felt great being outside.

Carter pushing Nyles around.

I took turns throwing Piper the ball.  She LOVED it!

Our Calla Lily is also blooming now!

Great quotes.

3rd Week of June- 14th Week of Quarantine

We had an eventful week this past week.  Here are some highlights.

We finally got our electric fireplace in the mail on Monday, then Steve installed it.

Monday, June 15th, Steve went back to clinical rotations, this time at Riverton Hospital.  The hospitals finally said it was ok for the sonographer students to come back into the hospitals.  Steve is now working 10 hour shifts, Monday-Wednesday.  Though they were supposed to be working on their clinical hours since Mid-May, he now has to make up the hours and get them completed in the same time frame (by the end of July).  So he's working longer hours in order to get all his hours in (190 hours).  At least he doesn't have to make up the hours they lost from Mid-March until now.  He'll still be done by the beginning of August, which is great news for us, so we'll be together when or baby boy gets here in August.  I'm still working 100% at home, which I love, and the boys walk over to the neighbors on the days Steve goes into the hospitals.

With risk of Covid, they're taking extra precautions to keep employees/students safe by wearing a mask, goggles and a shield.

Steve was so tired after work one day that he fell asleep by Piper.

Haha funny, good one Steve!

The boys helping Steve do the tiling around the fireplace.

Haha apparently the tile I chose for the fireplace is similar to the tile we chose for our kitchen floor.

 Tile is looking good!

Friday we packed up and went to visit my parents in Idaho.  We haven't seen them since Thanksgiving due to my mom's surgeries then everything happening w/ the pandemic.  We're running short on time when our baby is due, so we felt this would be our best opportunity.

The boys helping Grandpa get some worms to go fishing.

Saturday morning we went out fishing at CJ Strike Reservoir.
Carter helping Grandpa drive the boat.

Nyles sitting w/ Steve getting to a spot.

Steve getting the fishing poles ready.

Carter wanted to snuggle w/ Steve for a little bit.

Dad waiting for the fish to bite.

Steve helping Carter w/ his fishing pole.

They caught a fish and Piper was curious to see it!

Nyles turn to catch a fish.

Good catch!

Again Piper wanted to check it out.

Then dad caught one!

Carter thought it was funny for Steve to hold his life jacket and stop him from walking away.

After fishing, the boys went w/ Grandpa to bring the tractor back.  They thought it was awesome!

Then the boys wanted to go on motorcycle rides w/ Grandpa.  Barbara and the 4 younger kids came down as well to spent time w/ us.  Dallin and Carter going for a ride.

Then Nyles and Calley taking a turn.

Playing together (Dallin, Nyles, Calley and Carter).

Dallin and Carter on the swings.

The boys went out shooting while the girls stayed back at the house and played games.
Dallin taking a turn shooting the gun.

Now Nyles.

Mom and I worked on 2 puzzles.  They were jigsaw puzzles and the kitty was was a little tricky, but we got it!  Calley helped w/ the last couple pieces.  Dad even put a couple in!

Helping Grandpa w/ the garden, getting some pumpkin plants to take home.

Carter w/ Grandma just before leaving.

Nyles, Dad, Mom, Carter and I (30 weeks pregnant) before heading home.

Then one w/ Steve.

We all had a great time visiting "Grandma and Grandpa on the farm."  Thanks for the fun!  We love you!
