And then we had a crazy wind storm that snapped our tree in half. Luckily it was "insured" and we were able to get it replaced. So Steve and Nyles dug it up.

Nyles said the new tree was "his" tree, so he replanted it. Good job Nyles!
They let us keep the snapped tree, so we planted it by the sandbox.
We hope it'll come back to life and continue to grow and provide some shade over the sandbox.

Pauline stopped by Wednesday late afternoon. We shared w/ her some cheese that we got from the school. The boys played while we visited. The boys were so excited to be playing though they didn't want to stop. Pauline offered to let the boys continue to play at her place and stay the night. It didn't take any convincing on their part. While the boys were off playing, Steve worked on the fireplace while I finished up some work, then did laundry, dishes and cleaned up. We then watched a little TV. It definitely was strange not having the boys home.
I took Thursday and Friday off. I had my Dr appointment Thursday morning. It worked out nice that the boys were over at Pauline's so we didn't need a babysitter to come over. I'm 29 weeks now, so I had to take my glucose test, which involves getting my blood drawn, and I also had to get a RhoGam shot in my glutes (for the RH Factor, meaning my blood type is negative and Steve's is positive so they don't agree and if the baby is positive like Nyles and Carter and need to be careful so my blood doesn't try to harm the baby based on his blood. I"ll get another shot after the baby is born too. I've had to do this for every pregnancy). Fun fun! I survived and didn't pass out for either procedure. Amazing! After my appointment we went over to pick up the boys at Pauline's. We then stopped at a few places, went home, finished packing and headed up to the cabin. We also stopped in Midway at Melanie's place to pick up Dave's boat and then continued the rest of the way.
We had Papa Murphy's Pizza for dinner, then walked down to the shore. Piper was excited to see the water, but she was most excited to try to find pot guts again.
The the boys had to throw rocks in the water of course.
Rob came up Thursday night and Dave drove up Friday morning. After a quick breakfast, we loaded up the boat and went to the dock. The Honda did great pulling the boat.
The boys were all ready to go, then we found out the battery was dead.
So we took it back to the cabin to charge it. While it was charging, we played fetch w/ Piper. We kept her on a leash this time since last time she kept going out to chase the pot guts and wouldn't stop.

After the battery charged we went out again.
Thankfully we started catching fish pretty quickly.

The wind picked up so we headed back to the cabin. Rob took a little nap on the couch.
Nyles wanted to go out shooting BB guns again, so after lunch they headed out. Carter and I stayed behind and did some puzzles. I finished this one of 300 pieces.
Then we did some Thomas the Train puzzles and Winnie the Pooh.

When they got back from shooting, we had dinner, then they went out again to try fishing since the wind died down. They caught a few more before bedtime. We played games after the boys went to bed. After breakfast on Saturday, we packed up and headed home.

Some of the art work the boys have done this school year. Of course it was cut short w/ the Pandemic (Corona virus) so there normally would have been more. Next year hopefully.

Sunday afternoon we went for a little hike up Millcreek Canyon.
We went for a new hike, not knowing exactly what was in store for us.
There were some pretty flowers along the way though.
Piper was pretty excited to go!
Unfortunately Carter scraped his knee and refused to walk, so Steve was nice enough to carry him on his shoulders the rest of the way.
Thankfully there was a lot of shade (most of the hike) on a hot day, and pretty scenery.
Carter was pretty happy not to walk anymore :)

We stopped for a bite to eat, then went back down the other side of the mountain.

Ironically Steve got a call on Thursday while at Pauline's picking up the kids, that the hospitals are allowing the students back to finish their clinical rotations. So, we're back to Steve leaving for his rotations in the morning 3 days a week, and the kids going over to the neighbors to be watched while I work. At least I'm able to work 100% from home right now. Hopefully that'll remain until the baby comes, or longer if possible.
