Thursday we met up w/ Pauline at the Aquarium.

Friday I took the boys to the dentist. Carter and Nyles at the dentist (they get to dress up, so fun!). Nyles LOVES the dentist funny enough!
Then we went to the Draper Splash Pad.

Then later that afternoon we went to a new park called Big Bear Park in Sandy.

Saturday I took them to Home Depot to build Rocket Pencil boxes.
Steve got back later that afternoon.
The boys liked the park so much they wanted to take Steve there the next day. We went and visited Joann in the hospital then went over to the park. She had Pancreatitis and was in the hospital for 5 days before being released.

Isaac, Cameron and Alexa came over for a couple hours the next Monday while Kim cleaned the temple. They played Yeti in my Spaghetti, then Steve taught them how to use chopsticks.

Steve, Rob and the boys went up to Strawberry Reservoir. They were planning to go fishing w/ Dave, but since Joann was in the hospital Dave wasn't able to go. Nyles wanted to try out his new kayak he got from his birthday and Steve and Rob wanted to look for duck hunting spots of course. Duck Hunting Season is only 2 months away right? Carter was happy to come along for the ride.

After they got back Nyles cleaned his kayak off and Carter helped w/ the hose.
Steve went and picked up some more mulch to finish the top of our retaining wall.
Carter was a big helper too shoveling it into the wheelbarrow.
And maybe playing a little too in the mulch!

Though they're little now, they'll be big soon!
On Friday evening we had a little Birthday Party for Nyles. He wanted to do dinosaurs! After dinner we played some games. First we dug for dinosaurs. Left to right in a circle- Cameron, Lynsie, Charlotte, Alexa, London, Carter, Nyles, Ezra and Conor digging for dinosaurs.

They were really good about sharing dinosaurs w/ each other.
Next they had to get a dinosaur out of the ice. Most of the kids just threw it against the wall to break it, after watching Nyles do it.

Then we played a dinosaur egg toss game w/ water balloons.
Then we sang Happy Birthday to Nyles at ate cupcakes and ice cream.

Saturday we went up to the Natural History Museum since we all got free tickets for reading over the Summer. Carter fell asleep on the way up of course. He didn't want to let go of his magnets he built. We use a cookie sheet so they stick; works great!

Right after the museum we went over to Temple Square to see Steve's MTC Mission Companion, Taylor Edwards. They live in Colorado but were in the area so we met up. They'd never been to Temple Square either, so it was a win/win.
