We had a really fun and eventful week during the 4th of July. Here are some highlights.
Our pretty Lilies are blooming, an orange Asiatic Lilly and yellow Calla Lilly.
Beautiful Daisies!
Barb came down by herself from Boise.
We went to the Jordan River Temple and did a session together (Barb, Pauline, me and Rose).

Sisters!
We put our flag up for the 4th of July. Carter fell asleep on the way up to Melanie's house.
He had to bring his new game from Aunt Rose though, a popcorn game. Silly kid :)
We went swimming as soon as we got up there.
It was only 65 degrees outside, but luckily the pool water was warm.
Steve pulling around Carter and Nyles.
Carter thought it was fun to pretend he was a choo-choo train.
Silly Carter sticking his tongue out.
The kids thought it was fun to jump on and off the inflatable swan.
And pretend it was a boat.
Aunt Diane showed the kids blow bubbles from a water bottle and sock.
Pauline and Barb came up around lunchtime.
And then we did face painting. Pauline helped paint the kids' faces.

Dave, Jeff and Steve giving Phill a big hug.
Stacie, her friend Lynsie, Barb and I helped cut up the veggies for our stir fry dinner and Phill grilled the chicken. We had coconut rice to go w/ it. It was super yummy!
Stacie cracked me up every time she spoke. She reminded me of a nut cracker!
Yumm!
After dinner Barb, Pauline and I went for a walk around the neighborhood.
We saw some pretty Poppies.
Fire!
We then had a patriotic pinata for the kids to hit.
All the kids got some candy.
After putting Carter to bed, we watched the fireworks from their deck.
Nyles was so excited to stay up and watch the fireworks. He got a front row seat :)
Nyles on the kayak.
Chandler on the paddle board.
Taking turns on Lynsie's boat.
Carter getting excited to go on the boat. Loading more kids up.
Carter and Ethan on the boat.
Stacie, Macey, London, Cameron, Noah, and Lynsie on the boat.

While we were on the boat, Steve was trying the paddle-board.
Back near the shore, kids on the kayaks again and paddle-boards.
It was a little cool, so Carter had his jacket on and long pants for a while.
London, Olivia and Alexa getting some lunch.
Just playing in the sand.
Filling his sand bucket. Steve and Nyles just taking a break.
After lunch we went back to the house and went swimming at the pool again.
We packed up after swimming and went home. We needed to get some stuff done around the house the next day.
Our pretty Calla Lilies.
And our Day Lilies coming out as well!
The reservoir was so full!
The river was overflowing anywhere it could.
The bench was almost completely surrounded by water. There were ducks and geese around too.
After our hike we met Pauline and had lunch together.

Saturday evening we went back up to Midway for dinner and then Chandler opened his mission call.
He is going to the San Bernadino, California mission, leaving in September.
We're all so excited for him. His farewell is at the end of August.
On Sunday, we got together at Pauline's house for lunch. I made cookies, which Carter loves.
He also says he loves PJ Masks right now :)
Another sister picture before Barb had to drive home to Boise.
Barbara showing off her guns.
That afternoon we went up to Silver Lake.
So beautiful.
My cute boys!
I love the pretty flowers.
The boys wanted to hike up a rock, so I went w/ them.
And there's still snow up there in patches.
More snow patches. It definitely feels cooler to go up the canyon.
Great quotes.
