Duck Hunting

Much to his surprise, Steve was actually able to go duck hunting quite a few times in October.  I took a day off every week during the month in order to study for the CFP test.  So usually on those days Steve went out duck hunting as well.  He even made it to the opener!

Halloween 2017

We had a fun Halloween this year with various activities.  We found a HUGE pumpkin at Costco and had to buy it.  Nyles wanted to paint it.

Steve went over a few times to rake up all the leaves in Dave/Joann's yard and the boys helped too ;)  Nyles and Carter playing in the leaves.

A couple weeks later, closer to Halloween, Nyles wanted to carve the pumpkin, so we did that too.  Nyles helping Steve get all the "guts" out.  Carter enjoying "Little Baby Bum."

That night we went around our neighborhood and went trick-or-treating for a little while.  Our neighbors Ryder and his mom Haley Adamson went around with us.  They actually moved a couple weeks before, but Nyles and Ryder wanted to go together still.  After an hour Carter was ready for bed, so we headed home.  Dave and Joann met us there as well.  Carter went to bed while Steve, Nyles and Dave went out again.  It got a little cool so they came back shortly after.  Dave and Joann stayed and visited a little while longer, then headed out when Nyles needed to go to bed.  It was a fun, low key Halloween.  We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!  Happy Halloween! :)
